Hurricane Gulch In Alaska

During our family trip to the Arctic Sea this summer, we crossed one of our favorite bridges, the Hurricane Gulch Bridge. Standing tall at 254 feet and stretching 558 feet long, this bridge is an architectural feat built right in the middle of Alaska’s rugged landscape. The panoramic views of the valley and distant mountains were stunning as we drove over the bridge on the Parks Highway. We tried to sneak looks at the river below as we drove over, being careful on the busy road. When we arrived on the north side of the bridge, we stopped at the parking lot to get out and take a closer look. There were some beaten-down paths alongside the river with great views of the bridge!
