Who doesn’t love quirky, fun, historic Talkeetna? I took my daughter to Talkeetna for her very first time in the summer of 2021, and true to Talkeetna form, she wouldn’t change out of her hot pink pajamas and proceeded to wear them the entire time we were there. We stopped at Denali View South on the Parks Highway to stretch our legs before heading into Talkeetna. We walked to the edge of downtown to enjoy the river (and the view!) and, of course, ate at our all-time favorite spot, Talkeetna Spinach Bread. The food was good, the weather was incredible, and Talkeetna delivered yet again.
