Always an iconic site on the Richardson Highway, Worthington Glacier has time and time again signaled that my favorite part of the Richardson Highway, Thompson Pass, is just around the corner. This beautiful glacier is always a welcome site, and to see it rising up from around the bend has always been a joy. Worthington Glacier State Recreation Site is a small 113-acre site with clean and tidy restrooms, a beautiful walking trails, and plenty of places to take a rest and enjoy the view.
